Julian Wood (History PhD 2021) has become the MCR President for 2022-23 and the Vice-President is Franz Fuchs (Computer Science PhD 2021), following elections among the Gonville & Caius College Postgraduate community.

The College would like to thank the outgoing MCR Committee, in particular Saba Shirvani and Ayat Abdurahman, who served as President and Vice-President, respectively.

Julian and Franz are focusing on postgraduate admissions, including access and outreach events. Liana Hardy is the MCR Access and Outreach Officer – a new position on the committee – and will work with undergraduate students at Caius and elsewhere on postgraduate admissions.

Welfare, further integrating postgraduate students with long-term partners and families by hosting casual events, and collaborative events with the SCR are also a priority for the new MCR Committee.
