Open Days
September Open Day
The next University Open Day will take place on Friday 12th September 2025. This is a College-focused Open Day, so while Departments and Faculties usually won't be open, there will be plenty to do at Caius. There will be an opportunity to look round the College (including student rooms, gym, gardens, and more), meet current students, ask our Admissions Tutor your questions about applying to Caius, and meet and ask questions of our Directors of Studies in your subject. We'll also have sessions throughout the day that will help you prepare to apply to Cambridge.
The admissions team, Admissions Tutor, and current students will be available to answer questions at the information stand throughout the day. Please note that due to planned carbon reduction works at our central site (Old Courts) our main information stand and all events will be situated at our Harvey Court site (also the location of our first-year accommodation). July Open Days (whole University)
The next University-wide open days will take place on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th July 2026. All Colleges, Departments, and Faculties will be open on these days, including a full timetable of events at Caius, so some along and see us!
Can't make an Open Day?
Don't worry! There are plenty of other ways to experience Caius and Cambridge. Our interactive guide is a great way to learn more about the College, with videos from staff and students about College life and virtual tours of facilities like sports facilities, student rooms, and music and arts facilities. Make sure to check out our social media as well for daily videos about applying to Cambridge and life at Caius.
If you'd like to see Caius in person, prospective applicants are welcome to visit the College at any time, and there is no need to book in advance. Just report to the Porters' Lodge when you arrive. A member of the Admissions and Outreach team may be available to meet you if you let us know in advance, but please keep in mind we may not be available in busy periods.
