Gonville & Caius College Domestic Bursar Karen Ball was admitted to the Fellowship at a service in the Chapel on Monday evening (April 22).

Karen was recruited as Domestic Bursar in March 2023 and has rapidly integrated herself into the College with close involvement not only with the day-to-day operations but also with larger estates projects.

These include the refurbishment of St Michael’s staircases A to F, which has been in preparation for a number of years now and will begin in earnest this summer, and the integration of Radcliffe Court, a purchase completed two weeks before Karen joined the College. She previously worked at the University of Sheffield and the University of Exeter.

Karen said: “I am really enjoying being at Caius and extremely honoured to be admitted to the Fellowship.”
