Cambridge has completed the second consecutive whitewash over Oxford at the Boat Races 2019. All Cambridge crews – Blondie, Goldie, Women’s and Men’s – were victorious over their Oxford counterparts.

Among the crews were Caians Matthew Holland, the cox of the Men’s crew; and Calum MacRae, who sat in the bow of Goldie. Calum said, "Winning all four Boat Races is a rare occurrence and it demonstrates that Cambridge rowing is in a strong place at the moment. It is great to see Cambridge winning, especially with Caians in the crews."

The win for the light blue Men means that Matthew Holland is the first person to win both the men’s and women’s Boat Race since it moved to the Tideway, having coxed the women’s crew in 2017.

Congratulations to all the Cambridge crews.
