A group of offer holders will benefit from a late summer Bridging Course at Caius to support their transition from school/college to the University of Cambridge.

Caius will join Christ's and King's Colleges in offering the free course from summer 2021. A small number of offer holders identified during the admissions process as most likely to benefit from the course will participate in both academic and social sessions – in person, and online – to help familiarise themselves with the city, the college, and life as a student at Cambridge, ahead of starting in October. Accommodation and meals are included, and further financial assistance is available for travel.

Dr Chris Scott, Caius Tutor for Admissions and Outreach, said: “At Caius, we want to admit students of the greatest academic potential, and to ensure that the College supports them in achieving it.

“The Bridging Course, an important aspect of our widening participation strategy, will introduce its participants to all aspects of life at Cambridge, and help them to hit the ground running when they start their first Cambridge term.”
