This recording contains anthems principally concerned with the period from Advent to Passiontide, whereas Volume One mainly contains anthems for the period from Easter to Trinity. The organ works included in this volume are the Three Preludes founded on Melodies from the Genevan Psalter and arguably his finest organ work, the Prelude and Fugue in G minor.
