Research interests

I specialise in Hellenistic Judaism, with a focus on Jewish-Greek literature, including the Septuagint. I am particularly interested in questions related to language use, multilingualism, and cultural identity in Second Temple Judaism.

Teaching Interests

My teaching focuses on the languages, literature, culture and history related to the late Second Temple Period. This includes Hebrew and Greek, as well as various Old Testament papers, in particular “Shaping Jewish Identity (32 3BCE–70 CE)” and “Hellenism and Judaism.” At the MPhil level, I teach the OT seminar on “The Significance of the Septuagint.”
