A British-American biologist who is the Renato Dulbecco Chair in Cancer Research at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, California, and Adjunct Professor of Biology at the University of California San Diego. He matriculated as an undergraduate student at Caius in 1962, and did graduate studies at Caius, receiving his PhD in 1969.
