Lifetime achievement award for Caius Fellow

Gonville & Caius College Fellow Professor David Secher was last month honoured with a lifetime achievement award for his commitment to Knowledge Exchange.

Professor Secher, a Life Fellow, former College Lecturer in Cell Biology and former Senior Bursar at Caius, is patron and co-founder of PraxisAuril, the professional body of Knowledge Exchange.A man in a suit and tie holding a microphone and an award

He said: “I am enormously proud, and humbled, to have been honoured by my peers with this Lifetime Achievement in Knowledge Exchange Award. KE is such an important and rewarding profession. We must celebrate success - and have fun.”

The awards ceremony took place in Leeds in late November, celebrating the people, partnerships and creativity that underpin the UK’s knowledge exchange activity. KE is at the heart of innovation and fundamental to creating economic and social impact from our world-leading research base.
