Caius Boat Club rowers are embarking on a 24-hour ergathon this weekend to fundraise for an Easter training camp.
CBC members will row with at least two and up to four ergs in constant use for a 24-hour period, from 5pm on Sunday 3 March to 5pm on Monday 4 March. The aim is to raise £7000.
Progress can be tracked via livestream and donations are welcome via the College website (select Boat Club in the drop-down menu)
A total of £7000 would fund an overseas training camp in April for up to 36 students, with Portugal the favoured destination. Should the target be missed, a domestic camp would be organised instead.
The crews are eager to strive towards a double Headship in the May Bumps later this year.
