Caius Engineering Trust Studentships

The College intends to award one Caius Engineering Trust Studentship for an outstanding candidate wishing to pursue doctoral research in Engineering. The Studentship covers University fees and a maintenance allowance for three and a half years and is subject to satisfactory progress in the first year. There is an additional stipend of £1,800 per annum for three and a half years, and research expenses up to a maximum of £1,500 per annum for three years, on application and with documentary support, will also be covered by the Caius Engineering Trust. The final value of the Studentship is determined after consideration of the successful candidate's income from other sources. Students should also apply for any other studentships or other research awards for which they may be eligible.

Candidates are expected to be of outstanding academic ability. Tenure of the Caius Engineering Trust Studentship is conditional upon the elected student being accepted for admission to the University by the Postgraduate Admissions Office (PAO). Preference is given to those who put Caius as their first-choice college. The award of a studentship may be conditional upon the candidate's obtaining satisfactory results in their final degree examinations.
