Research interests
I have completed research on the interplay between Bop Jazz and American poetry of the 1950s (Jack Kerouac, Bob Kaufman). I am also interested in contemporary migration dynamics and the poetry they produce (especially bilingual works, like those of Nuyorican poet Urayoán Noel). More broadly, I am keen to explore the relationships between 20th-century anglophone cultural history and literature, with an emphasis on intermediality and geopoetics.
