My primary research interests are in geometry, an area of pure mathematics. I am interested in algebraic geometry, complex geometry and especially their interactions. Much of my research is focused on putting canonical complex geometric structures on algebraic spaces.

In the past I have been involved in example classes for the Part III course "Complex Manifolds". I also taught a short course on Partial Differential Equations to undergraduate students in Linyi University, China.
