Caius is opening its doors to prospective applicants at a new Autumn open day on Saturday 23 September.

The Cambridge undergraduate application deadline is coming up fast (15 October), but we know choosing a College can be a tricky decision. So this year Caius is adding an extra opportunity for you to come along and meet our students, academics and Admissions Tutors, as well as taking a look round the College and its facilities.

The programme for the day includes a welcome talk and the chance to quiz our admissions tutors, tours of the College - including our excellent, all-ensuite fresher accommodation - and an admissions workshop run by our Schools Liaison Officer offering top tips on applications. We're also providing a free buffet lunch, where you can chat to the admissions tutors and meet Directors of Studies in a range of subjects.

The day starts with an introduction over coffee and pastries at our West Road site, and then an accommodation tour and guided (short!) walk across the river with our students to our beautiful Old Courts, just along from King's College Chapel. There you can visit the Library and other facilities, and join the admissions workshop if you wish, before an informal lunch in Hall.

If you would like to attend the talks, workshop and lunch, you must book (hurry, as we don't have many places left!). All events, including the lunch, are free, and parents/supporters can also attend the lunch. The admissions workshop is for prospective applicants only.

Alternatively, you can just drop in to Old Courts and Harvey Court from 10am to 3pm. Current students will be on hand to answer questions and show you round, and there is no need to book.

You might like to look at our maps for guides to our sites and travel/parking information.

We hope you find the day enjoyable and useful, and look forward to meeting you!
