A new film showcasing graduate life at Caius is launched today ahead of Cambridge University Postgraduate Open Day this Friday, 3 November 2017.

The video, featuring graduate students and tutors, gives an insight into everything from our excellent accommodation to our famous formal dinners in Hall, as well as providing a sense of the strong academic community at Caius. The exceptional sporting facilities at the College, including gyms, a sports ground and new boathouse, are also featured.

Hugo Larose, President of Caius MCR (the Midde Common Room, representing graduate students) and producer of the film, said: "Caius has so much to offer graduates: we have a very close community and we work very hard to provide many social and academic events that bring people together. We hope this short movie will give a taste of graduate life at Caius, and prompt potential applicants to come to see us on open day or consider us as a great College to join."

The film's launch comes in the run-up to the University-wide open day, which will offer prospective applicants the chance to attend talks, visit departments and Colleges and find out more about Cambridge as a place for postgraduate study. Caius will be open from 9am till 2pm, and visitors will be able to meet some of our students, tour our beautiful Old Courts in the heart of Cambridge, and chat to one of our graduate tutors. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits will be available, with sandwiches over lunchtime.

The University is inviting visitors to register for the day, and we will take registration details, but visitors do not have to be registered to visit Caius.

You can find out more about the open day events and register on the Cambridge University website.
