We aim to de-mystify the application process and provide an insight into life as a Medicine student at University at our upcoming Medicine Access Day on Thursday 31 January.

The free event is for aspiring Medicine students who are currently in Year 12 at state schools and sixth forms within our link areas. School students will be led primarily by our own Medicine Students from the MedSoc student group, running from 10am to 3pm.

The day promises to be lots of fun and incredibly informative, with sessions being held about our admissions process, as well as what it’s like to be a Medicine student at Cambridge. We will also be hosting sample supervision activities, and sessions for attendees to get a taste of the Cambridge teaching style. Even if students are not sure about wanting to apply to Cambridge, it’s still a great opportunity to find out what life at Cambridge is like, and there will even be an opportunity to explore day-to-day activities such as lunch in our dining hall.

To find out more about our Medicine Access Day, visit our Events at Caius page. There are limited places for this event, and they are being allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Any students who want to attend simply need to complete our quick online booking form by Thursday 10 January.

We look forward to welcoming aspiring Medics to Gonville & Caius College on the day.
