Essi Harbord (Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic PhD 2022) and Cristina Piñel Neparidze (Surgery PhD 2022) have been named MCR Committee Co-Vice Presidents for 2025-26.
Essi and Cristina are also Acting Co-Presidents, as being third year PhD students means they cannot be President, per the MCR Constitution. They were elected following a vote of the postgraduate community.
The College would like to thank the outgoing MCR Committee, in particular Tejas Rao (Land Economy PhD 2022), who served as President for two years, and Co-Vice-Presidents Nikita Kozhushko (Mitochondrial Biology PhD 2023) and Jessica Moore (Data Intensive Science MPhil 2023). The outgoing and incoming committees completed a successful handover transition in early February.
The Committee has new members and others who have served on student committees previously.
