The College is sad to announce the death of Gordon Ellis, our College painter for 22 years.

Gordon joined us in 1998 and was not only a very valued member of the Maintenance Department, but was also well known and well respected throughout the College community. He will be very much missed. Our sincerest condolences to his family and colleagues.

Gordon’s funeral will be held on Tuesday 29th September for family only due to Covid restrictions. A memorial service will be held in the College Chapel when it is safe to do so with all of Gordon’s friends and family welcome – details will be shared with the Caius community.
