Luis Briseño-Roa (Chemistry PhD 2001) talks about his career journey from a PhD in Chemistry to his current work at Ipsen as Head of Translational Rare Diseases and Neurosciences in an interview with the Gates Cambridge website.

Luis Briseño-Roa’s career path – like many – has not been a linear one. He started in natural sciences and worked his way through biochemistry, neuroscience, biotech and finally pharma – but throughout, a constant has been a desire to learn and, more recently, to help address the shortage of viable treatments for rare and neurological diseases. Cambridge played a vital role in his career trajectory.
