On Thursday 5 and Friday 6 July 2018, Gonville & Caius will open its gates for the annual summer Open Days. Prospective applicants are warmly invited to visit Caius (pronounced "Keys") for the chance to speak to academics about their chosen subject, meet current students and tour the facilities.

All Colleges and departments are represented as part of the Cambridge Open Days, and Caius is no exception. We have a renowned reputation for offering particularly welcoming Open Days, with no need to book and plenty of opportunity to get a flavour of life at the College. On both days we'll be running a welcome talk with our Admissions Tutors, as well as a drop-in session where you can meet Directors of Studies and ask questions about your chosen subject at Caius.

Throughout the day, you can visit our information stands to find out more about the admissions process, College accommodation and financing your studies. Caius students will also be on hand to answer any questions and give a first-hand account of life as a Caian. In addition, they will be running tours of our beautiful Old Courts, so you can take a look at some typical bedrooms overlooking the courts, before heading across to our first-year accommodation a few minutes away in West Road. All rooms there are modern and ensuite, and are located right next to the Sidgwick Site – home to many of the University’s arts and humanities faculties – and the University Library. 

You will have the opportunity to take a rest from a packed day of College visits by enjoying complimentary hot and cold refreshments or a sandwich lunch (served between 12.30 and 13.30) in our marquee. To help you remember your visit, we'll be giving away goody bags with small Caius-themed items. 

Due to our central location, we're an easy College to find. We're located at end of King's Parade, next to Senate House and close to the market square and King's College Chapel. If in doubt, look for our banners!

10.00 - 10.45: Welcome Talk with Admissions Tutors

11.00 - 13.00 Drop-in Subject Q&A with Academics

All Day: tours of the College including accommodation; speak to students and staff; information stands on admissions, student life, accommodation and finance.

16.30 - Great Gate closes
