Caius wins Best Customer Service award for the third year running

Gonville & Caius College has been announced as the best overall customer experience in Cambridge at this year’s Cambridge BID awards.

Our conference team who attended the awards ceremony on Thursday 26 September were presented with the awards for best overall customer experience, and best customer experience in the professional business category.

The BID awards recognise and reward the highest levels of customer service among businesses in Cambridge. It focusses on shops, bars, restaurants and shopping centres in the BID area and is assessed by a mystery shopper in person or in the case of professional businesses via a mystery telephone caller. Caius has performed consistently over the years, winning the best customer experience in the professional business category three years consecutively, and carrying on the tradition of winning a trophy every year since 2014.  

Conference and Events Manager Eve Stupart commented: “We are delighted to be recognised again for our customer service and especially so to come home with two awards on the same night! The BID does great work for the city and the Mystery Shopper programme, in particular, is invaluable for helping all businesses within the BID area retain focus on the visitor experience. We are going to need a longer trophy shelf now though!”
