HR Administrator - 6 month fixed term contract, part time 30 hours p/wk

The Role

The College is seeking to appoint an experienced Administrator to fill a part time 6 month fixed term contract within its busy HR department. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of a new HR and Payroll system and the provision of a comprehensive, professional and confidential service to Heads of Department, line managers and employees throughout all stages of the employee life cycle. The role requires an individual with outstanding Administration and IT skills, capable of prioritising workload to meet multiple deadlines, with a desire to seek out opportunities to continually improve the departmental functionality.  The full job description for the position can be found here.

This is a part time position, for 30 hours per week over 5 days from Monday to Friday, on a six month fixed term contract. The ability and willingness to adopt a flexible approach to working hours is expected, and you may be required to work additional hours from time to time in order to fulfil the requirements of the role and the needs of the College.  The post holder will be responsible to the HR Manager.  

The full time salary equivalent for this role is £22,137 (pro rata for part time 30hrs, 6m fixed term contract). In addition the College offers excellent benefits including automatic enrolment into a defined benefit pension scheme (subject to eligibility), 33 days annual holiday (pro-rata, including Public Holidays), meals on duty and a medical cashback scheme which gets you money back on prescriptions, optical and dental treatments, and discounts through shops, cinemas and utility providers, amongst others.
