Head of Communications
Gonville and Caius College, one of the largest colleges of the University of Cambridge wishes to appoint a Head of Communications to cover the College’s general communications role, to support and promote the College as a place to study, research, teach and work. The College seeks an individual who can source and write compelling content for both internal and external audiences, with a particular emphasis on managing the College’s web site and associated social media channels. The role, which reports to the Master and works closely with the Senior Bursar also involves dealing with media enquiries, including from the student press, and liaising with the University of Cambridge Office of External Affairs and Communications.
The full time role carries a salary of £35-39,000 dependent on skills, and an exceptional working environment in the College’s historic buildings in the centre of Cambridge. Other collegiate benefits include 33 days holiday entitlement (pro rata, including public holidays) and entry into a generous pension scheme and medical cashback scheme.
