The College

Gonville and Caius College is one of the largest colleges in the University of Cambridge. It is an educational charity and its mission is to provide a place of education, religion, learning and research, in conjunction with the University that is recognised internationally as being of the highest standard.

The College is an academic community comprising some 530 undergraduate students, 250 graduate students, and 110 Fellows (lecturers, professors and other senior academic researchers and teachers) and almost 200 staff. It plays a significant role throughout the University. Our students come from all over the world and our undergraduates study all the subjects offered in the University. Our postgraduates play a vital role in the research activities of the wider University. The Role

Applications are invited for the post of Admissions and Tutorial Assistant at Gonville and Caius College, a college of the University of Cambridge. The aim of this role is to ensure that the academic functions for all undergraduate and graduate students are appropriately and efficiently managed. To achieve this, we are looking for an outstanding individual with excellent advanced level IT skills and experience of a busy office environment. The post holder must be familiar with working at an advanced level with office software packages including Microsoft Word and Excel, email and internet programmes.

This is a full time, permanent position, currently 37.5 hours Monday to Friday. The ability and willingness to adopt a flexible approach to working hours is expected, and you may be required to work additional hours from time to time in order to fulfil the requirements of the role and the needs of the College. 

The basic salary for this post is £25,398 FTE per annum.
