Autumn Open Day

Saturday 22 September 2018

Our Autumn Open Day includes tours of the College and undergraduate accommodation with current students, as well as session(s) with the Admissions Tutors and Schools Liaison Officer about applying.  Lunch is included, free of charge, during which you will have the opportunity to speak with some Directors of Studies and current students about their subjects and life at Caius. There will also be some Caius-themed items to take away with you.

Booking

Full details of the schedule and the booking form will be available shortly. Registration and refreshments are likely to be 0930 - 1000, with the event concluding after lunch at around 1400 / 1430. You will then be free to explore Cambridge generally, and perhaps drop-in on some other Colleges on your shortlist - if you really must! (We're sure that Caius will still occupy the top spot after you've spent the day here!)

The session(s) with the ATs and SLO are just for prospective applicants, but parents/supporters are very welcome to join us for refreshments, tours and lunch. The Admissions Tutors will be available outside of the group session if you have questions. Cambridge is beautiful in the Autumn, so feel free to explore the surrounding area.

Short on time?

If you're not able to commit the whole morning to us, but would like to visit while you're in Cambridge then please feel free to drop-in. There will be current students on hand to speak to you and show you around, even if you have not been able to make it for the scheduled sessions or lunch. (Please note that refreshments are lunch are only available for those who have booked a space.)

New fieldset
College is accessible for those with restricted mobility, but it would be helpful to know in advance if you or your supporter(s) have any particular needs e.g. wheelchair user. The buffet lunch will be clearly labelled, but if any of your party have any allergies or particular dietary requirements that we should be aware of, please do let us know. The College operates a nut-free kitchen.
Parents / supporters are invited to explore the College and its surroundings, or speak with admissions staff, during the Welcome Talk and Admissions Workshop as these are just for prospective applicants. You are more than welcome for refreshments, lunch and to join the college tours.
