Applying in autumn 2021?
This page is for students who are considering applying to Caius/Cambridge in autumn 2021. You may find it useful to bookmark it, as it will be regularly updated with news and upcoming events as the year goes on.
Applying to Cambridge can seem like a very complex process at the best of times; in the context of a global pandemic, it might seem especially hard to know how to navigate the various stages of the application process, and the run-up to it. (Note that it is advisable for Cambridge applicants to start their thinking about and preparation for their application early - i.e. near the start of 2021, rather than in August/September!) At Caius we want to give you as much support and encouragement as we can as you prepare your application. Our outreach Youtube channel is full of videos from our Admissions Tutor, current students, alumni and academics - right the way from advice about the application process, to insights into student life, to taster lectures which might help you develop your interest in your chosen subject, or even choose your course. You can also follow Caius Schools on Instagram.

Caius Explore is a new initiative for year 12 (or equivalent) students at UK state (non-fee-charging) schools or colleges. We will be offering challenges in a range of subjects aimed at supporting students in developing their academic interests and exploring beyond the school curriculum. Caius Explore will launch in late April/early May, so make sure to keep checking/bookmark this page if it sounds of interest! Challenges will be offered in:
Archaeology, Anglo Saxon, Norse and Celtic, Education, Engineering, History, HSPS, Law, Linguistics, Medicine, MML, Philosophy, Physical Natural Sciences.
Participating students will be able to submit their work, in the form of a piece of writing or video, if they would like to; we will pick our favourites and invite their creators to come to Caius for a day of further exploration!
