1972 Ruby Reunion

In recent years there have been a series of successful and enjoyable reunions of members of the College who decided to celebrate the anniversary of their matriculation in a special way. A 40 Year Reunion was held on Sunday 16th September 2012 for a group of Caians who matriculated in 1972 and their partners, organised by Peter Kerr-Dineen, David Barrett and Richard Handley

The programme included:

  • Coffee in the Cavonius Centre of the Stephen Hawking Building
  • Buffet lunch in Hall
  • Tour of the Archives with College Archivist, James Cox
  • Tea in the Master's garden, with Sir Christopher and Lady Hum
  • Evensong in Chapel
  • Celebration Dinner in Hall

The reunion was celebrated by the establishment of a fund to raise £300,000 to endow a 1972 College Lectureship. The 1972 year group is currently about half of the way to achieving their target. If you would like to support the Lectureship, please contact the Development Office on +44 (0)1223 339574 or click here to make a gift.
