Tutorial
Every undergraduate and graduate student in Caius is assigned a College Tutor. The Tutors give assistance, advice and direction to their students on all academic and personal matters that may arise during the course of their time in Cambridge. They also administer many College funds which exist to assist students in financial hardship and to support students in their academic, sporting, musical and other extra-curricular activities.
All undergraduates are required to meet with their Tutor at the beginning and end of each term. All Tutors are also available during drop-in hours each week in full term and at other times by appointment. Students should normally consult their own Tutor, but if the need arises they may consult another. Lists of Tutors' meeting times and of Duty Tutors, available at night and during weekends, are posted on all Tutors’ notice boards, in the Undercroft and in the Porters’ Lodges. Links to PDF versions are given below. Students may consult the Senior Tutor, Dr David Holburn, in confidence, about any matter, in his office on R Staircase, Tree Court.
