Research interests
French and Francophone cinema; contemporary French philosophy; intersections between film and philosophy, particularly in relation to questions of politics and community. Author of Cinema and Contact: The Withdrawal of Touch in Nancy, Bresson, Duras and Denis (Legenda, 2012).
Teaching interests
Twentieth-century and contemporary French and Francophone literature, thought and visual culture; European cinema; critical theory.
