The College Council on Wednesday 4 May voted to adopt the working group proposal on the flying of flags from the College flagpole. The decision was recommended by a vote at the General Meeting of the Fellowship on Friday 29 April.

The proposal provides a process for students to have up to six flags flown on separate occasions during the year from the flagpole at Old Courts. It comes into effect from October 2022.

Separately, the College Council on Wednesday 4 May voted to fly the Progress Pride Flag on Wednesday 1 June for the start of Pride Month, subject to receiving local authority approval.
